Lead (VIC) HEAVENLY DIAMOND - APPALOOSA MARE
Description
AS PROVIDED BY VENDOR * NAME: Heavenly Diamond BREED: Appaloosa SEX: Mare HEIGHT:14.3 hh(Not measured) AGE: 5 Heavenly Diamond - A Prospect Pleasure Horse with Promise Meet Heavenly Diamond, an exceptional mare born on 10/09/2019, offering the rare combination of an impeccable temperament and a foundation ready for further development towards becoming an unparalleled pleasure horse. With her pedigree rooted in traditional working lines, she has been registered with the Australian Appaloosa Association (AAA64181), showcasing distinct grulla colors with a stunning spotted blanket over her 14.3 hh frame. Key Attributes - Impeccable Temperament: Heavenly Diamond has proven to be unflappable, confident, and curious, making her an ideal candidate for someone dedicated to continuing her training journey towards being saddle-ready. - Foundational Training: Her training to date has focused on establishing fundamental skills, including following basic cues in hand, habituation to various environments, and the socialization with other horses and animals. Her willingness to please and ability to bond make her highly receptive to continued training. - Health and Maintenance: Currently in excellent health, she is up to date with parasite prevention and hoof trimming. Note that a dental check is advised prior to initiating ridden training. - Diet and Care: Heavenly Diamond thrives on a balanced diet free from whole grains, consisting of pasture hay, legume hays, and essential nutrients. - Travel Ready: She has a history of traveling well, both in a float and a larger horse truck, showing ease and respectfulness when led. - Genetic Testing: Comprehensive DNA testing has been conducted, confirming her as a PSSM1 carrier. While this makes her less suitable for breeding, it does not detract from her potential as a superior pleasure horse. Important Consideration While Heavenly Diamond has tested positive as a carrier for PSSM1, it should be noted that this does not impede her potential as a future pleasure horse. However, it does mean she is not recommended for breeding purposes. Documentation and full DNA test results are available for review, providing assurance of her suitability and potential. Ideal Home: Heavenly Diamond is suited to an equestrian who is passionate about nurturing and advancing her skills. Her willingness to learn and be guided, paired with her gentle and affectionate nature, positions her as the perfect companion for someone committed to her continued development. Do not miss the opportunity to own this remarkable mare. Heavenly Diamond represents a blend of quality breeding, promising potential, and amiable temperament, making her a standout prospect for pleasure riding. Her readiness to advance further in training promises a rewarding journey for the dedicated equestrian. **View her detailed profile, including images and DNA test results, in our auction listing.
