Pepper is a ex race horse, upon retiring she was bought by a woman in horsham off the track who had put some time into her then sold on to the previous owner of which I purchased her from that did low level events,.. that’s all I know about her past,.no health issues,.. she has a blocked tear duct (Right Eye)which has been seen to by 2 veterinarians, has been flushed,.. both vets say it’s permanently blocked and won’t be an issue, doesn’t bother her in any way
Pepper is a beautiful girl with a soft nature and when she gets to know and trust you she will be a friend for life,..she was ridden by an experienced 12 yr old girl a couple of weeks ago with no issues after not being ridden for over 12 months (see video) so can be ridden after stints in the paddock she is great with the farrier and has good manners on the ground Re: easy to worm, groom, clean feet, and is well behaved with the dentist, also up to date with vaccinations, worming and feet,..she’s a bit bossy around feed time and wants to be boss in the paddock with other horses,.. she is easy to catch, she will go on a truck but is not so good with a horse float, she will go on, but it will take someone who has patience to get her on,.. she does need float training, she won’t respond to heavy handling so if you are this way inclined she’s not for you patience, kindness, and guidance is the quickest way with her ..reasons for sale,… i work full time and don’t have the time to put into her that she deserves,.. she has been well looked after and spoiled but would benefit more with someone who can put her to work she is just wasted in the paddock,.. would be great if she could go on trail rides and have someone that will spend quality time with her and build a unbreakable trusting relationship with who ever she goes to.
