We have owned Hank for nearly 2 years, having bought him to use to teach adults to ride. We have found him to be a solid dependable old gentleman, with definitely more whoa than go. We don't know his history prior to being owned by the people we purchased him from, but it seems that life wasn't too easy for Hank, because of the scars and white marks he carries. Hank did cut the bulb of his near-side hoof (see photo of the scar), by putting it through a barbed-wire fence, and this kept him out of work for some time but since healing this has been no problem to him. Hank is just looking for someone to love him, and unfortunately we have just too many horses in need of work to keep holding onto him. Hank loves long slow rides through the country and is suited to helping beginner riders to move through to being experienced intermediate riders. He currently lives only 40 minutes from Brisbane, and we would be willing to offer the purchaser the chance to agist him with us, and to receive riding lessons at very reasonable rates, if required.
