Lead (VIC) WINSTON - ASH X TB GELDING
Description
*AS PROVIDED BY VENDOR * NAME: Winston BREED: ASH x TB SEX: Gelding HEIGHT: 15hh(Not measured) AGE: 10 Winston Marloroo Park Arli Age: 10 years old (No Papers - previous owner couldn't find them) Could possibly applied for new ones. Breed: Australian Stock Horse x Thoroughbred (ASH X TB), registered Show Name: Marloroo Park Arli Winston is a 10-year-old gelding with a blend of Australian Stock Horse and Thoroughbred heritage. He Has Flashy looks and Charm. He has primarily been ridden by my children, he can go solo in bush settings and also alongside other horses, but can be a little stubborn if he doesn't want to lead the ride. Winston is good to catch, shoe, (Currently barefoot and wears scoot boots), With his previous owner he had been floated on a side angle float, but while I have had him I haven't floated due to living right next to the bush. He has been exposed to motorbikes, trucks, car's, sheep and dog's and behaviours well in all setting. My teenage daughters, aged 15 and 13, have been riding Winston without any issues. While working in arena he has developed three established paces, however in a canter he will drop back to a trot and won’t continue around, I would say on the lazy, stubborn side or bored of circle work. I do believe with consistent full-time work and dedicated time and in a knowledgeable horsey home, Winston would have the potential to excel in a variety of disciplines. We are reluctantly selling Winston as my daughters' interests have shifted towards barrel racing. He is currently in paddock condition due to time constraints. Winston would thrive with a confident rider who can further his training and give him the attention he deserves. He would be suitable for and intermediate rider or above due to currently being out of work. He has jumped logs in the bush, over trot poles, we mainly just used him to bush ride every second weekend while the kids are in my care. So bush trails and his adaptable nature make him a versatile partner for someone looking to explore the outdoors. He was on this site a few months ago but due to bidder/buyer default at the end of auction he is now listed again and only I have had the time re-advertise he until now.
