NAME: Flea
BREED: QH
SEX: Mare
HEIGHT: 14.2hh(Not measured)
AGE: 7
Flea is a 7yo, 14.2hh (unmeasured) QH mare.
In the time we have owned Flea she has been nothing but a delight! She is an easy doer, a gem to handle and be around. Nothing phases her. On the ground and in saddle she has a work horse mind, and gives everything a crack.
With us Flea has been used as a trail riding horse, where she is great with and without horses, can be on the buckle, but is also free moving and not a kick along. She’s great off property, her demeanour and attitude doesn’t change.
She has done bits and bobs of arena work establishing basic aids! Simple exposure such as having a rope swung off her, dordilled around barrels and poles, just simple things to get her out and about and exposed.
Done a lot of moving our cattle, tracking them off arena and moving them from paddocks. She is the mare we have just kind of thrown around doing anything and everything.
She has had so much exposure to dogs, cars, motorbikes, tractors etc. Can lead off a quad bike and out of a car if needed as well. Also is great with dogs as we take them on trail rides with us and they run around her, nothing phases her.
She hasn’t shown any nastiness towards us ever! No buck, bolt, Pigroot etc. She is a free moving mare, that will go when asked but has a great stop on her as well. Would suit an experienced rider to get the best out of her.
She is a mare that has plenty to learn, but picks up everything so quickly. She is the ideal candidate for an experienced rider to take onto any discipline they desire and make her their own.
Very sad sale but it’s for the best interest of Flea as she is waisting in the paddock, as we have to many horses and not enough time.
We do have her breeding details and I believe can be registered if someone was wanting to go down that road.
We just recently had her teeth done, up to date with worming, new shoes. Floats well.
